How to turn off SSL connection in Microsoft Outlook

- Firstly, open Outlook, and then click Services on the Tools menu.
- From the Services window, click the e-mail account that you want to modify.
- Click Properties, and then click the Advanced tab.
- Click to clear the This server requires a secure connection (SSL) check box that is under Outgoing mail (SMTP).
- Click to clear the This server requires a secure connection (SSL) check box that is under Incoming mail (POP3).
- Click Apply, and then click OK two times.

- Start your Outlook, and then click E-mail Accounts on the Tools menu.
- From the E-mail Accounts window, click View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.
- Select the e-mail account that you want to modify, and then click Change.
- Click More Settings.
- In the Internet E-mail Settings window, click the Advanced tab.
- Click to clear the This server requires a secure connection (SSL) check box that is under Incoming server (POP3).
- Click to clear the This server requires a secure connection (SSL) check box that is under Outgoing server (SMTP).
- Click OK, click Next, and then click Finish.
- Click Close!
