Creating An Email Account in Microsoft Outlook 2016 Print

Step 1 - Open Outlook 2016

- Click File in the top-left corner

Step 2 - Click Add Account

 

Step 3 - Enter your details

- Name
- Email Address
- Password
- Click Next

 




Step 4 - Configure your account

- Wait while Outlook completes the setup
- Check the box for Change account settings and click Next




Step 5 - Click More Settings
 
- check & confirm the details as below:

  Your Name :
  Email address : [your email address]
   Account Type : POP3
  Incoming mail server : [mail.yourdomain.com]
  Outgoing mail server (SMTP) : [mail.yourdomain.com]

Step 6 - Enter Root folder path

- Click on the Advanced tab.
- change the information as follows:
   Incoming server : 110
   Outgoing server : 587
- Enter INBOX as the Root folder path and click OK.


Step 7 - Complete setup

- Click Finish, Outlook will now test your account settings by trying to send a test message.
- Press Close when the tests are completed.
